One Sip & Your There

BONFIRE ON THE BEACH

A full moon and a summer night were the perfect ingredients to pair with Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc, shrimp and a bonfire on the beach. We skewered the bell peppers, shrimp and grapes, then roasted all on the fire.

What didn’t fall into the flames tasted amazing. The grilled veggies and fruit brought out all the flavors in the wine. After sharing some great stories over kabobs and Monkey Bay, we decided this night was record book status and we vowed to do it again soon. And of course bring along more Monkey Bay.

FLOATING

The river’s current was slow and lazy the same way we felt that afternoon. So we grabbed our inner tubes and assembled a floating feast: cold grilled chicken, pears and some triple-cream cheese mated up with Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Perfect picnic food for the crisp and
lively wine.

We strapped a bottle or two of Monkey Bay to the outside of the tubes. The wine stayed cool in the water, so by the time we got to our picnic portage it was the perfect temp for drinking.

STAYCATION

We filled our cooler with Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc, set up our tent in the backyard and started calling friends. We didn’t think anyone would show up. Instead EVERYONE showed up.

When it came to the evening meal, we grilled the marinated swordfish and asparagus outside and made the wild rice and scallion butter sauce inside on the stove. The seafood and the Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc were made for each other.
